Dr. LaToya Thurmond serves as the Executive Director of A&S Unlimited Solutions, bringing over a decade of spiritual leadership, entrepreneurial excellence, and coaching expertise to the organization’s mission. As Apostle and Lead Pastor at Catapult Church & Family Life Center, she leads with vision, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to transformation through faith, community, and innovation.

Co-founder of LaPre Academy, Dr. Thurmond has dedicated her career to creating safe, enriching, and educational spaces for children and families, especially those from underserved communities. Her leadership extends beyond the pulpit and classroom—she is a certified life coach, published author, and dynamic speaker who helps individuals and organizations shift from surviving to thriving through her signature method of Realization, Refocusing & Relaunching.

With a PhD in Organizational Psychology, Dr. Thurmond approaches her work with both academic expertise and lived experience, bridging the gap between strategy and heart. Her ability to inspire, equip, and empower has earned her recognition such as the Women of Worth Award from The Racine Mirror, honoring women making extraordinary community impact.

Angela Holland serves as a Case Manager at A&S Unlimited Solutions, where her warm, approachable nature and commitment to service make her a trusted support for the families and individuals we serve. Guided by our belief that healthy parents and providers create resilient children, Angela works closely with clients to ensure they feel heard, supported, and empowered every step of the way.

Known for her friendly smile and genuine care, Angela is passionate about connecting people to the resources, tools, and guidance they need to overcome challenges and reach their goals. Whether she’s walking a family through community programs, assisting with day-to-day needs, or simply offering a listening ear, Angela approaches each interaction with patience, empathy, and dedication.

Her role is more than a job—it’s a calling to serve with kindness, build trust, and help create pathways toward stability and success for every person who comes through our doors.

Arion Thurmond is a Racine-raised art therapist whose personal journey from bullying and depression to healing through art has become the foundation of her therapeutic mission. A 2020 graduate of Alverno College with a BA in Art Therapy, she went on to earn her Master’s with a focus on mental health from Mount Mary University. Currently serving as a Program Therapist at the STRONG Milwaukee Day Treatment Program, she employs creative, compassionate interventions to support at-risk children and young adolescents.

A passionate advocate for youth, Arion has initiated transformative community programs such as the Bullying Stops Here Art Camp and an art exhibit spotlighting children from homeless shelters. Her artwork has been showcased at galleries including the RAM Art Museum, UW–Parkside, Alverno College, and Mount Mary University.

When she’s not guiding healing journeys through art, Arion enjoys kayaking, discovering new experiences, and spending time with her beloved companions: the bunnies Coco, DaPre, and her turtle Chi. With every brush stroke, Arion believes in the power of creativity to heal, inspire, and transform.

As the Creative Communications & Outreach Manager, I blend strategic design, storytelling, and community connection to create visuals that educate, inspire, and unite.

With a Bachelor’s in Medical Science and a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Psychology, I approach communication with both a scientific understanding of health and a deep insight into human behavior. This unique perspective allows me to craft outreach materials that resonate emotionally while delivering clear, actionable information.

From social media campaigns and event branding to educational graphics and community resources, my goal is to ensure every design reflects our mission—empowering parents, supporting providers, and building a foundation where children can thrive. Each piece of content is thoughtfully created to not only capture attention but also create lasting impact in the communities we serve.

Mary Xiong is a certified coach, consultant, and educator. She describes herself as a builder of solutions; therefore, she is also a planner and strategist.  She has spent the last twenty years in higher education and non-profit settings to build bridges between people, people and their potential, and connecting disparate phenomena to improve the quality of life for employees & students.  She also specializes in consulting on retaining & engaging a diverse workforce, training faculty and administrators on culturally-responsive teaching practices, and evaluating organizational climate.  Mary Xiong holds multiple degrees, including the Master of Educational Psychology, Learning Analytics from University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Master of Business degree from the University of Wisconsin Parkside, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton College. 

Ms. Xiong has an established history of working with organizational infrastructures and its people to coordinate change from the granular to organizational systems.  She will be supportive of this work as a consultant to our participating organizations; as well as a coach who can work with administrators on pressing obstacles and defining solutions.  Ultimately, she will be a great asset to this work as we seek to change mindsets, promote family-friendly workplaces, and integrate policies for lasting impact. 

As the Research & Community Insights Specialist at A&S Unlimited Solutions, Jomarie Coloriano combines her passion for equity with a talent for turning data into actionable solutions. She plays a vital role in analyzing trends, identifying community needs, and helping shape programs that make a meaningful difference for the families we serve.

With a deep commitment to supporting our Latinx community and other historically underserved populations, Jomarie ensures that every voice is heard and represented in our outreach efforts. Her work helps us better understand the challenges faced by those we serve, ensuring our programs are culturally responsive, accessible, and impactful.

Jomarie approaches research not just as numbers and reports, but as a tool for storytelling—capturing the lived experiences of individuals and transforming that knowledge into strategies for change.
